DATE (“Digital Artificial-Intelligence Transactional Ecosystem”) is a new premium dating platform for people to monetize their active and passive data to create compatible matches. How do digitized dating and digital identities, with the collaboration of AI, manifest themselves in 2045? How do active and passive data become monetizable, forming identities of themselves?
DATE applies the Foresight methodology for researching and describing systemic and transformational change via future scenarios, and Speculative Design as a means for turning future scenarios into robust physical and experiential proposals through prototypes. DATE explores diverse perspectives and practices, imagines alternative paths, and enables more equitable futures through the democratization of processes transformed by Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies.
